49ers' Deebo Samuel Has No Timeline for Return, George Kittle Has New Injury

The San Francisco 49ers 2024 season has been a nightmare. On Monday, it somehow got worse.

Hours after it was reported All-Pro wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk would miss the remainder of the 2024 season with a torn ACL and MCL, head coach Kyle Shanahan provided ominous updates on wide receiver Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle.

Shanahan said Samuel, who didn't play on Sunday due to an illness, is dealing with pneumonia and has been hospitalized due to fluid in his lungs. As for Kittle, he suffered a sprained foot.
