The Great American Family cable network produces family-friendly movies for the holiday season every year, and 2024 is no different.
With 18 brand-new titles set to premiere on the channel by December 22, 2024, we have collected five of the most recommended movies on the network.
Candace Cameron Bure joined Great American Family as their chief creative officer after leaving the Hallmark Channel in 2022, following over a decade of starring in and producing their films. The Full House alum, famous for playing DJ Tanner in the sitcom, has a couple of movies premiering in 2024, where she serves as both producer and actor.
Christmas in Scotland
Jill Winternitz from Netflix's The Sandman is joined by actor and Scottish native, Dominic Watters. The movie's official description on the network's website says that the movie centers around an unlikely relationship that sprouts between a New York installation designer and an heir who dislikes the holidays who have to work together to create a "dazzling light display to win the Best Christmas Village festival" in Scotland.
A Christmas Castle Proposal
Rhiannon Fish, who has been in a number of Hallmark movies, plays Olivia, a commoner, alongside Mitchell Bourke, who plays Prince Alexander. The movie tells the story of Olivia who travels to the Price Alexander's family's magical palace to celebrate the holidays with both of their families for the first time.
A Vintage Christmas
Merritt Patterson from Pretty Little Liars and Christopher Russell from Star Trek: Discovery play the lead roles in a film about "A dedicated preservationist battles a developer's ambitions to tear down a historic post office with ties to her family." The debate divides the town forcing the two to come to an agreement for the sake of the community.
The Fabric of Christmas
Ferelith Young, a famous voice from Star Wars: The Bad Batch and Gossip Girl alum, Harmon Walsh, come together for this Christmas movie about Amy, a quilting teacher and Liam, a Firefighter. The two collaborate on making the perfect gift for Liam's sister's Christmas wedding and learning to put aside their differences for what is most important.
A Royal Christmas Ballet
Colombian American actress Brittany Underwood plays opposite Jonathan Stoddard from Furry Little Christmas in a movie about a retired ballerina who finds herself having to step up during a performance of The Nutcracker.
