2024 was one of the biggest years for WWE with multiple record-breaking title reigns coming to an end and countless superstars giving breakthrough performances.
Still, there are some WWE Superstars who stand out above the rest. So let's take a look at the six WWE Superstars who had the best 2024.
Honorable mentions go to Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, Bayley, Ilja Dragunov, Nia Jax,
Trick Williams
NXT had an incredible year with impressive superstars like Oba Femi, Ilja Dragunov, Wes Lee, Roxanne Perez, and Ethan Page as well as exciting appearances from Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace from TNA.

Still, this was the year of Trick Williams. After spending most of his career in the shadow of Carmelo Hayes, Williams proved that he was a solo star worth paying attention to, especially when he was battling Dragunov and Page.
Right now, it seems that fans will see Williams move up to the main roster in the near future. And given his 2024, he absolutely deserves it.
Chelsea Green
Ever since she debuted in WWE, Chelsea Green has been one of the most consistently entertaining superstars on the roster alongside her tag team partner Piper Niven.
She proved it again this year with an MVP performance in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match and her excellent Dumpster Match against Michin.
Green was finally rewarded for her efforts by becoming the inaugural Women's United States Champion in another great match against Michin. Now, 2025 is set to be Red, White, and Green.
Gunther
Has Gunther ever had a bad match? His old-school hard-hitting style remains one of the most entertaining to watch in all of professional wrestling, and he has continued to prove his dominance in 2024.
Although he finally lost the Intercontinental Championship, Gunther claimed the title of King of the Ring and went on to win the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2024. He has held the championship ever since.
Rhea Ripley/Liv Morgan/Dominik Mysterio
Admittedly, this entry is a bit cheating since it's three people included in one slot. But can you genuinely imagine any one of these superstars without the others? Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Dominik Mysterio's story has been intertwined all year, seemingly taking over the women's division.

This has resulted in Ripley and Morgan becoming two of the most popular wrestlers in WWE.Then there's Mysterio, who has become one of the most hated heels in all of professional wrestling.
At this point, it seems this trio will be stuck together forever in some shape or form. But is that necessarily a bad thing?
Cody Rhodes
He finally did it. At WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes won the title his father never did and finished the story. And he did it by beating Roman Reigns.
While this would be enough to allow any superstar to rest on their laurels, Rhodes has been a fighting champion who has had consistently excellent matches with the likes of AJ Styles, Cody Rhodes, and the New Bloodline.
Who knows if Cody will be able to hold onto the Undisputed WWE Championship after WrestleMania 41.
Drew McIntyre
While Rhodes' year has been defined by success, Drew McIntyre's has been defined by failure.
He won the World Heavyweight Championship but lost it when Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase. He then won the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match but failed when he tried to cash in on Priest.
Behind all this is CM Punk, who would have made this list if he hadn't been injured for a good portion of the year. The two engaged in one of the best feuds in WWE history which came to a stunning end at Bad Blood in Hell in a Cell.
While McIntyre only held the title for about five minutes, he was easily the most compelling character in all of professional wrestling. There's no doubt that he was the true MVP of WWE this year.
