90 Day Fiancé star Miona Bell has seemingly hinted at what led to her split from ex-husband Jibri Bell.
The Serbia native, 25, took to Instagram for a Q&A session on Friday, December 6, and responded to a fan who asked why her “past relationships ended.” Miona shared an image of a quote that read, “You can either build with a busy partner or babysit a lazy one.”
Underneath the quote, the TLC star added, “I’m focused on building and taking big steps in life, so my partner can’t be complacent, lazy, or someone who resorts to scams to make money instead of creating something real. If they are, it won’t work.”
Jibri, 30, confirmed his split from Miona after less than three years of marriage in March.
“Love is a gamble and heartbreak is beautiful,” he wrote in a lengthy Instagram post alongside a video of himself performing a rap song. “I’m 30 years old and this is my 3rd true heartbreak and this one hurts just as much as the last two … and all 3 of them were Serbian women.”
Jibri continued, “I think it’s time I leave the Eastern European women alone. In all honesty, it wasn’t their fault it was always me … I get to about 4 … 5 years and I throw in the towel … so I take full responsibility … something about being in a long term commitment makes me feel uneasy and trapped … maybe I’m immature … or maybe I just haven’t found the one.”
He concluded, “Anyways I want to always be transparent and honest with y’all and show my true colors … I’m far from perfect and I’m working on becoming a better man everyday!”
In the comments, Jibri asked fans for “no negativity towards Miona, I love her.”
Miona and Jibri were first introduced on 90 Day Fiancé season 9 in June 2022. At the time, Jibri lived with his parents in South Dakota. The pair butted heads over finances as Miona wanted to move to Los Angeles.
Despite their issues, the couple tied the knot in Joshua Tree National Park in November 2021, as seen on the show. They finally moved to California after their time on 90 Day Fiancé.
Rumors of Miona and Jibri’s split began to circulate in September 2023, as they stopped posting each other online. However, at the time, the couple exclusively confirmed to In Touch that they were still together.
“We are together and we are still married!” Miona said. “We just decided to change some stuff with social media and to put less attention on our private life and relationship.”
Miona moved on with another man named Terzel Ron shortly after her split from Jibri was confirmed. She and Terzel, 27, went Instagram official on April 30, as the makeup artist shared a photo of herself and her boyfriend holding a dog. “Us,” she captioned the post.
Miona and Terzel purchased a home together a few months later, sharing the news on Instagram in July. “A few days before our birthday, we gave ourselves the only gift we wanted. At 25 and 27, we officially became California homeowners,” she wrote.
