Veah Netherton updated fans after missing the filming of the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 tell-all in New York City because of health issues.

“So on tonight’s tell-all, I say they found gallstones and I think we’re on the right track, but there was and still a lot more going on,” Veah, 27, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, January 12. “I’ve gained a few pounds but am still very underweight.”

The Florida native asked her followers for a doctor’s recommendation as she’s had “no luck” with the medical professionals she has consulted so far.

Veah participated virtually in the season 7 tell-all special, with part 1 premiering on TLC on Sunday, January 12. She explained to host Shaun Robinson that she couldn’t attend the in-studio filming because she got severely ill after traveling from South Africa to meet her boyfriend, Sunny Mahdi, for the first time.

“I started to experience a lot of shortness of breath. Like, even swallowing is just like, super painful and it has caused me to lose a lot of weight,” she described the illness. “I’m down like 50 pounds.”

The reality TV alum said that after months of tests, doctors concluded they were “able to find gallstones.”

“I think we’re on the right track now to get this all figured out,” Veah said positively.

Fans have to wait another week to get an update on Veah and Sunny’s relationship after their whirlwind engagement.

Despite a rocky start to their romance — with Sunny discovering that Veah had brought her ex-boyfriend along on the trip — the couple still got engaged.

However, Sunny’s dad wasn’t thrilled to hear the news and asked Veah if she planned on converting to their family’s religion.

“When Sunny proposed to me, he said I did not need to convert,” she firmly stated. Sunny’s father said that was unacceptable and confirmed that his son would need to choose between her and him.

“Don’t count on me for anything in the future,” he told his son as he stormed out. “Stay away from me.”

Sunny admitted that he felt horrible about the situation and was worried he would be alone once Veah returned to the United States. “My dad kicked me out of his life, you know?” he said in a private confessional. “But I’m hoping that, in time, my dad will forgive us and accept us.”

Meanwhile, Veah was positive she could support Sunny through the issues but wasn’t sure if it would overshadow losing his family. “I just hope that loves outweighs and is strong enough to keep us together till he gets to America,” she told producers.

Although it’s unclear where Sunny and Veah’s relationship currently stands, it’s not looking good as the South Africa native accused his fiancée of being unfaithful in a teaser parts 2 and 3 of the tell-all.

“I find out that she was seeing someone,” Sunny told the cast in a teaser clip. “Veah was telling me, ‘We are friends. It’s nothing bigger than this.’”

Veah slammed the claims that she was cheating, yelling, “No no no,” in the clip before it cut to another scene.
