Fresh off beating his assault case, ASAP Rocky has officially been named Ray-Ban’s first-ever creative director!
This partnership makes sense since Rocky is often seen rocking Ray-Ban shades with his standout outfits. Known for his influence in music and fashion, Rocky is bringing his vision to Ray-Ban Studios to push the brand forward.
To kick things off, he’s launching the Blacked Out Collection, which reimagines Ray-Ban’s Mega Icons with a fresh lens design. The collection drops this coming April, just in time for spring/summer.
Rocky said of his new position:
“I’ve always admired Ray-Ban’s ability to stay true to its roots while constantly evolving…I’m excited to be part of the strong heritage and develop the next chapter for an iconic brand like Ray-Ban.”
The Blacked Out Collection will blend Ray-Ban’s classic style with Rocky’s signature touch, featuring oversized designs, gold-plated details, and ultra-black lenses.
Rocky’s role with Ray-Ban will go beyond just eyewear—he’ll also direct campaigns, redesign stores, and bring in elements of music, fashion, and art into the legendary brand.
