Four Marketing has completed its acquisition of A Cold Wall, taking full ownership of the brand from Tomorrow Limited.
In October, Drapers reported London-based brand accelerator Tomorrow was working with advisors at Interpath to explore the sale, just months after acquiring the designer brand.
Four Marketing is home to more than 20 brands, including G-Star Raw, Stone Island and Pretty Green. In June 2020, Frasers Group chief executive Mike Ashley increased his shareholding in the brand agency to 49% – up from 32.5% in May 2019.
Ben Banks, CEO and co-Founder of Four Marketing said: “The strength of Four Marketing’s supply chain operations, strong retail presence, and direct-to-consumer expertise will be pivotal as A Cold Wall embarks on its next stage of growth.”
In February, Tomorrow Limited acquired A Cold Wall from its founder and Drapers 30 Under 30 alumnus Samuel Ross for an undisclosed sum.
Stefano Martinetto, CEO of Tomorrow said: “Four Marketing’s commitment to long term brand development and strategic expansion aligns perfectly with the journey we’ve envisioned for A Cold Wall. “We’re thrilled to see the brand transition into such capable hands, and we look forward to continuing to support its growth through our international distribution role.”
He added: “The exit also allows Tomorrow to double down its efforts on developing and supporting its remaining portfolio to maximise value while championing creatives”.
A Cold Wall recently opened its flagship concept store in Shanghai.
