A Rare Kim Kardashian Business Fail! She Quietly Stepped Down From Company That Missed Billion-Dollar Goal!

A Kim Kardashian business flop!? This is new!

The reality star loves trying new things, and she usually crushes it when she does! Whether she’s starting a clothing empire or taking up a whole new acting career, when she sets her mind on something, there’s no stopping her. Until now…

It appears things aren’t going so well with Kimmy Kakes’ private equity firm SKKY Partners. She co-founded the company in 2022 and was announced as co-managing partner at the time. That said, she has now quietly downgraded! In securities filings obtained by Axios on Thursday, Kim was listed as the co-founder and senior operating advisor. This is also how she is now listed on the website. Hmm.

Interestingly, Kris Jenner is also no longer named as a senior advisor, either.

This comes after the company came short of raising $1 billion, according to the New York Post. As of March, the firm had only raised $121 million — a heck of a lot of money, but not nearly enough to reach their billion-dollar goal! Axios reported the plan was to use the money to buy consumer companies. Not only did they not raise enough, but they have reportedly only closed one deal, with hot sauce maker Truff (and that was last year). So, not a great result.

It doesn’t seem like Kim has totally checked out, though. She still has the company listed on her Instagram bio. But considering she never really mentions this firm, she certainly doesn’t seem as invested in it as her other companies. Is she just too distracted with other opportunities? Or did she get pushed out for some reason? Right now, it’s hard to know.

Since the launch of SKKY Partners, Kim has not only been working toward a law degree, but she’s also started doing a ton of acting! Plus, she’s a single mom of four children, stars on a reality TV series, and is just booked and busy in every way possible. She doesn’t have time to focus on a failing company, apparently! A rare fail for her. But hey, she’s still rolling in the dough!
