Someone Like You singer Adele, 36, is now taking some well-deserved time off after she finished off her much sought after residency in Las Vegas. During the show's run, Tottenham girl Adele let fans go all in on her hidden habits, including revealing she could drink 25 bottles of wine - and stay completely sober.
But now, as the show comes to an end and Adele takes a break from music, she is now sitting comfortably on a huge pile of cash after she raked in a massive £21,500 every single day of 2024. This adds to the eye-watering £150million fortune she was already boasting.
She also made heaps of other money from her other business ventures outside of the show, according to The Sun. The songstress was able to bring in the wonga from a host of other firms that were helping to raise her net worth.
Thanks to a number of firms, which are responsible for her music sales, publishing deals and live performances, Adele was able to bring in the money - even while she was sleeping. Her largest firm, Melted Stone Publishing Ltd, her assets in the company are worth a massive £13.5million.
On top of this, the firm also has £6m in reserves if needed, adding an extra £20m to Adele's already-monstrous earnings. As well as this, her touring company, Adkins Touring Ltd, is ticking along, earning a total of £42k a year, helping her secure dates and tickets to wow audiences.
Figures from HMRC and Companies House revealed that through her various businesses, Adele paid a total of £1,549,958 in corporation tax. Overall on top of her £100m residency in Las Vegas, the Rumour Has It star has racked up a total of £7.7m in her enterprises.
Adele continues to dominate the charts as one of the biggest-selling musicians of all time. According to the latest figures, she has seen 120m records fly off the shelves over the course of her career.
Her steady stream of income is still going strong, despite her last album - 30 - being released back in 2022. Her financial success is also matched with her critical acclaim, after she was named as the best-selling female artist of the 21st century in the UK, as well as the best-selling artist of the 2010s worldwide.
But despite her huge amounts of money, Adele has previously protested against having to pay the top rate of tax for her musical ventures. After shelving out millions in tax following the release of her critically lauded debut album - 19 - Adele was not happy about handing over loads of money.
"I’m mortified to have to pay 50%; I use the NHS, I can’t use the public transport any more," she fumed. "Trains are always late, most state schools are s*** and I’ve gotta give you, like, four million quid - are you having a laugh?"
