At the Homecoming show, a vignette aired teasing the return of the masked luchador Hologram, who has been absent from AEW programming since October.
Hologram, who debuted in AEW in July 2024, has been on an impressive undefeated streak, boasting a 13-0 record. His last match took place at AEW's *WrestleDream* event, where he defeated The Beast Mortos in a thrilling two-out-of-three falls match.
Unfortunately, he suffered an injury during the bout, which led to an angle on the October 19th episode of *Collision*, where La Facción Ingobernables attacked him, writing him off television.
In addition to recovering from the injury, Hologram also took time off to be with his wife for the birth of their child.
Now, after several months on the sidelines, AEW is teasing his return with a cryptic vignette featuring computer coding and Hologram's name. While no official return date was announced, the video package suggests that his comeback may be imminent.
It's unclear whether Hologram will rekindle his feud with La Facción Ingobernables, as the group has also been absent from AEW since November due to alleged backstage heat following an altercation on *Rampage*.
The vignette, reminiscent of Hologram's initial promos, ended with a "ACCESS DENIED" message, leaving fans wondering if any changes to his character or storyline are in the works.
For those unfamiliar with Hologram's background, he is a former AAA star, where he worked under his real name, Aramís.
Since beginning his wrestling career in 2010 on the Mexican independent scene, Aramís gained significant recognition in Lucha Libre AAA, where he worked as a free agent, allowing him to appear in various promotions across both Mexico and the United States.
He also competed in notable federations such as Lucha Memes, MexaWrestling, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), where he participated in the 2019 *Battle of Los Angeles* tournament.
In February 2024, Aramís signed with AEW, and by July, Tony Khan unveiled his new character, Hologram, in a series of vignettes that captivated the AEW audience. The return of this fan-favorite luchador is highly anticipated, but it remains to be seen when exactly he will make his in-ring return.
