Alice Evans has sparked concerns after she admitted she "can't keep going" ahead of her upcoming eviction.
The former wife of Hollywood star Ioan Gruffudd shared a post to her Instagram stories where she expressed her emotions as she confessed to be afraid of what is to come for her. Alice, 56 - who is mum to two daughters Ella and Elsie - also detailed how she has been "holding it together" for so long amid her divorce from ex, Ioan.
She wrote: "I have to be honest. I'm not sure I have this. I've been holding it together for four years now amidst the smears and the financial burden and the nastiness. But now I'm scared. I don't think I will be able to keep going once we are evicted. It feels like the last straw..."
Alice then concluded "I'm so sorry for oversharing," adding three crying face emojis to her heartbreaking post. The actress - who starred in The Vampire Diaries spin off The Originals - recently accused Ioan of "fraternising" with a legal representative after being thrown out of a court hearing over custody of their children.

Evans has since insisted she wasn't taking photos of Gruffudd, but instead was photographing a female lawyer in court named Andrea Burkhart. According to new court documents, Alice claims Burkhart "has been fraternising" with her estranged husband. Evans also claims the lawyer "has said awful things about me" and "refers to me as Malice instead of Alice in her Twitter posts."
"I turned around and saw her (Burkhart) and Gruffudd engaged in conversation, smiling and laughing," she said in the documents. "This concerned me greatly as it appears that Gruffudd is assisting Ms. Burkhart to make disparaging statements about me in her social media."
Evans included a photo of Burkhart outside the LA courthouse in her new court filing. She has also listed several online posts by Burkhart that criticise her. In a post from August 2024, Burkhart wrote: "‘Alice just lies about her financial situation." Another from July read: "Malice’s own financial disclosures have been, shall we say, opaque."

On X, Burkhart described herself as a legal professional. Her public Twitter bio reads: "Legal Color Commentator. I'm an experienced trial and appellate litigator and I call the shots as I see them."
She has actively been following Evan and Gruffudd's legal dispute over recent months and often commentates on matters via her public social media accounts. Evans denies Gruffudd's complaint last week that she has been violating a court restraining order ad "disturbing his peace", according to her new filing.
Evans claimed: "I have not violated any court orders." She conceded that she posted "mean" messages about Gruffudd and his fiancée Bianca Wallace during 2021 and 2022 because "I was acting out of emotion after the very sudden end of our marriage." She has dismissed her social media posts last week as "general comments about my life, the dissolution proceedings and court proceedings in general. They were not intended to disturb Gruffudd’s peace."
Evans and Gruffudd split at the start of 2021, with their divorce finalised in July last year, but the legal battle over custody of their two children is still ongoing. The former couple met on the 102 Dalmatians film set in 1999, and married in 2007.
