The supermodel kickstarts Berlin Fashion Week
It’s always fashion week somewhere in the world – and after the couture shows in Paris, and not forgetting Copenhagen Fashion Week, all eyes are now on Berlin. Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio kicked off proceedings at Berlin fashion week by returning to the runway for the Marc Cainfashion show - just 48 hours after she was in Paris for the Jean Paul Gaultier show during Paris Couture.
Models walked on a high-shine catwalk that eluded to water and reflections, with a 32-metre light installation above them. The autumn winter '25 collection, Parallel Universe, had the classic Marc Cain staples from head-to-toe leopard-print looks as well as the classic burgundy set worn by Ambrosio.

But there were fun, new elements to the collection: pops of colour found in the accessories, and a Seventies ski assumable which has made me wish it was available now to buy for my next holiday on the slopes.

So yes, whilst we’re still in the winter coats headspace - there is already much to look forward to. Matching skirt suits, oversized blanket coats and plenty of burgundy, which is still very much the colour palette for 2025.
