Ana de Armas and Oscar Isaac seem to be preparing to work together on a new project. The Cuban-Spanish star, who is currently promoting her new movie 'Ballerina,' which is a spin-off of the John Wick franchise, and the Guatemalan-Cuban actor, who finished filming the highly anticipated 'Frankenstein' movie, are set to star in a new Apple TV+ series.

Directed by David O. Russell and created by Carolina Paz, known for 'Orange is the New Black' and 'Narcos,' the new dramatic series is tentatively titled 'Bananas' and is still in pre-production stages, as reported by Deadline.

A source unveiled details about the storyline to the publication. "The premise for the potential series, written and executive produced by Paz, is kept under wraps through sources indicating that the working title refers to so-called banana republics, a term used to describe politically and economically unstable countries in areas such as Central America," Deadline shared.

Both actors would also serve as executive producers of the series, but the filming date and location have not been revealed yet. Apart from looking unrecognizable as scientist Victor Frankenstein in his new movie with Jacob Elordi and Mia Goth, helmed by Guillermo Del Toro, Oscar also finished filming Julian Schnabel’s 'Hand of Dante,' starring Jason Momoa.

Meanwhile, Ana has been making headlines while promoting 'Ballerina.' The Hollywood star is showing a different side of herself for the action-packed project, where she will be seeking revenge following the death of her family.

Directed by Len Wiseman, the story serves as a spin-off for Keanu Reeves' John Wick, but her character has a different perspective, as we can tell from her back tattoos. Ana showed off her heavily tattooed back in a new poster for the movie, revealing the phrase 'Lux In Tenebris'
