“They really don’t like any of the celebrity part of it, especially Shiloh hates it,” said Jolie, per The Daily Mail.
“It’s not a normal thing. It’s a silly thing, really."
Jolie went on to reveal that her children's opinion on fame wasn't something she had influenced. In fact, she shared that she always wanted to have the kids around when making films and creating art, but they simply were interested in other things.
“That’s not my doing,” she continued. “I always wanted them to be around film because… it’s such a wonderful family, to be creative, to be an artist."
"They’re not interested," she concluded.

Angelina Jolie's emotional Santa Barbara experience
Angelina Jolie attended the Santa Barbara International Film Festival earlier this week, where she was honored with the Maltin Modern Master Award, recognizing figures who've impacted culture through the course of their careers.
Upon receiving her award and taking the stage, Jolie shared a movie tribute to her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who passed away at the age of 56. Jolie credited Bertrand as one of the sources of her passion for acting. "I am absolutely nothing without her love," she said.

"I think of my mother … she had to give up her dreams of a creative life but she embraced that side of mine." Jolie revealed that her mother encouraged her acting work by writing letters to some of the characters that she played in movies.
"Dear Gia,' 'Dear Lisa Rowe,' 'Dear Lara Croft' — and for the last 16 years, I haven't had those letters," said Jolie.
