Angelina Jolie ‘Will Do Whatever It Takes’ to ‘Launch’ Kids’ Careers: Convinced of Their ‘Potential’

Angelina Jolie’s kids are getting offers and deals non stop now they’re all grown up, and a source exclusively tells In Touch their famous mom has zero doubt they’ve got what it takes to reach the very top of the entertainment world – even if they decide to move abroad once her divorce war with Brad Pitt is finalized. 

“Angelina’s very aware of the potential her kids have, she has no doubt they’re going to do great things,” the insider says. “That being said, she’s never pushed them into anything, the last thing she wants is to see them flounder or be forced to do something they’re not passionate about, but she is carefully guiding their careers and setting them up, step by step.” 

“Maddox is the perfect example, he’s worked behind the scenes on a lot of her projects and been her assistant in so many aspects and now he’s the third-assistant director on her next film,” the insider continues. The 23-year-old recently landed the gig on her upcoming movie, Stitches, which the source says is an excellent jumping-off point for a behind-the-scenes career in Hollywood. “He’s learning from the ground up, so that eventually, he’ll be ready to direct big feature films.” 

In addition to Maddox now working in the industry, “Pax is on the same path,” the source says. “He’s got a huge interest in film and at the moment is looking to become a director of photography.” 

The world may soon know the A-list former couple’s kids as household names, just like Angelina and Brad, as “Angelina is nurturing Zahara’s dreams with just as much intention.” The 19-year old is “interested in politics and international relations, which of course thrills Angelina to no end,” considering the Oscar-winner’s work with the United Nations.

“With the younger kids, she’s just as hands on: Viv is passionate about theatre so Angelina took that and ran with it by coproducing The Outsiders on Broadway with her, so she’d be able to learn the process alongside her. That was an extraordinary opportunity and not something the average theatre kid gets to experience.” 

As In Touch previously reported, the Salt actress, 49, has decided to be “strategic” with son Knox’s career as the modeling and acting offers begin to pile up for the young lad, with the source adding: “Now that Knox and Shiloh are getting more comfortable in the spotlight, the sky’s the limit for them, too.”

Nepotism is nothing new in Tinseltown – in fact it may be the way she goes for what seems like a good chunk of the working entertainers today, but that rep isn’t going to phase a supportive parent like Angie, who “acknowledges that and is proud to be able to give her kids this kind of help, to her it’s much better than just using her connections – she wants to be there helping them learn.”

“Angelina will do whatever it takes to help launch their careers,” the source insists, “as far as she’s concerned they’re the next generation. She’s very excited about all they will accomplish with her help.”
