Apple is working rigorously to improve the user experience with Apple Intelligence. However, the latest reports suggest that AI is not the only weapon in Apple’s arsenal as of now. A report shared by 9to5Mac suggested that the Cupertino-based tech giant is working on its gaming-focused application. The new gaming app by the company will integrate both App Store and Game Center features providing a single platform to the users for all their gaming-related requirements.
Apple game app details that you should know
Now, a major highlight here is that Apple has no plans to replace the game center with the new app. Instead, the upcoming app will use the Game Center profile of the users. As claimed in the same report, the gaming application will have various tabs including Play Now, Leaderboards, and more.
Talking about the Play Now section, here the users will get to see game suggestions and editorial content. And games from both the Apple Arcade and App Store will be available here. The app will also work as a hub to promote gaming events and share crucial information related to the games as well.

That’s not it, Apple is also working on integrating iMessage and FaceTime with its gaming app so that players can have better communication channels while playing the games. In addition, the tech giant is also exploring a way to let the developers offer mini-games on the app.
To increase the social interaction between players, the app could possibly include elements like leaderboards, activity status, and game libraries. It will be interesting to see how Apple markets the upcoming game app to the users. A rough idea related to the same is that the new game app will be launched alongside the iOS 19 next year.
