Apple today launched the new M4 iMac in a press release, while simultaneously posting an announcement video to YouTube that looks like it could have been cut straight out of a streamed event video.
John Ternus introduces the new iMac as the first of “three exciting new product announcements” coming this week, all but confirming the imminent unveiling of the new Mac mini and MacBook Pro with M4 lineup coming Tuesday and Wednesday. Watch the video after the break …
The non-event event video starts with a recap of Apple Intelligence, which also launches today as part of iOS 18.1.
Then, Ternus introduces the new iMac. The new all-in-one machines are powered by the M4 chip, come in a new set of colors, feature an upgraded 12-megapixel front camera with Desk View, and a new nano-texture display option.
Here’s the new video for the M4 iMac:
The new iMac can be pre-ordered today, with first units shipping next week. You can also order new USB-C keyboard, mouse, and trackpad accessories.
The video ends with Ternus teasing another exciting Mac announcement coming tomorrow, so stay tuned for full coverage on 9to5Mac across the week.
