Twitch streamer Asmongold has officially left OTK after abdicating his leadership role at the streaming organization in late 2024.
On February 21, 2025, Asmongold addressed a curious fan asking if he was still part of OTK, a streaming group that first started in October 2020.
After spending nearly four years with the company, Asmon revealed that he had officially exited the group.
“You got kicked out of OTK, didn’t you?” the fan asked.
“Yeah,” Asmon answered. “I’m not involved with OTK at all, pretty much. I haven’t been, for a while. I’m chilling. If there’s something going on, with them or anything else, that’s up to them. It’s not my thing.”

Asmongold has officially parted ways with OTK completely.
Asmongold confirms political content was behind his OTK exit
The streamer went on to describe himself as a “very relaxed guy” during his absence from the business and confirmed the reasons why he’d left, saying his political content was a major factor in his exit.
“Doing controversial political content is really hard to synthesize with content that’s not like that, because of how extreme it is and how polarizing it is,” he explained. “It’s harder to find sponsors, it’s harder to do things for that reason.
“I don’t want to grief other people because I’m going down what I think to be the best direction for my channel, my career, my actions. This is what I wanna do as a person.”
He went on to confirm that him leaving OTK was a “mutual” decision between himself and the other members, saying that “even if it wasn’t, I would still agree with it.”
Asmongold’s comments follow two big shifts for OTK in recent days, with member Emiru removing almost all OTK branding from her social media profiles that same day.
A week earlier, OTK streamer Wake Wilder teased some big upcoming changes to the company, saying in a stream, “if we can’t make it a better place, if we can’t make it a happier healthier place, then I’ll have to reevaluate where I stand.”
Asmongold notably stepped back from his leadership positions in OTK in October 2024 following backlash against his comments regarding the conflict in Palestine. Now, he has completely cut ties with the group and is continuing to create politically-centered content.
