Jenny Marrs’ Double Delight at First-Time Sight

“Fixer to Fabulous” star Jenny Marrs is expressing her delight and excitement about finally getting to witness something she’s always wanted to see.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Marrs shares a video of her neighbor’s sheep having not one, but two baby lambs.

Marrs’ excitement is evident as she writes, “This deserved a permanent spot on my feed! Of all the years caring for our little flock, I’ve never witnessed the birth of a new lamb.”

Jenny Marrs and Daughter Charlotte Watch and Wait

In the post, Marrs explains, “On the way home from school, Char noticed one of our neighbor’s sheep was in labor and we excitedly waited for the birth. We waited and waited.

Finally, we went to our house to get Luke (he was cold waiting and had gone home with Dave) and, when we came back, we saw we had missed it! The baby had been born.”

Her disappointment at missing the birth was short-lived though, when the mother sheep delivered a second surprise. Marrs writes, “As we sat there, marveling at this new life, we unexpectedly watched as Mama delivered a second baby! (“It just slid out like on a slide” – Charlotte 😆)”

Despite Living On a Farm, Jenny Marrs Never Tires of Animals

In the post, Marrs clearly expresses her wonder over the new lambs, writing, “Wow. Wow. Wow. What an unexpectedly amazing afternoon. I’m so thankful we were there witnessing new life and cheering the babies on as they stood for the first time on their wobbly little legs. Standing in that cold barn felt a whole lot like standing on holy ground.”

Jenny Marrs Feels Special Connection to Mother Sheep

In the post, Marrs speculates, “This same mama is quite possibly the one who birthed our beloved Tommy. We still ache when we think of him (and seeing him last week on the episode brought back tearful conversations about heaven and the abundant green pastures there). And, this week, God let us witness a miracle and reminded me that life on earth may bring heartache but, every so often, the veil thins just enough that we get to see glory shine right on through. 🤍”

The “Tommy” that Marrs refers to was a lamb the Marrs family adopted from the neighbor when it needed to be bottle-fed. Sadly, Tommy developed an infection and passed away, leaving the family devastated.

In a post after losing Tommy, Dave Marrs shows himself riding around the farm with the tiny lamb in his arms. He writes, “The last couple of days this is how Tommy and I hung out. He didn’t have a lot of energy, so we just went for rides in the ranger. I never thought I’d be emotional about a baby sheep that was with us for only 46 days, but here I am. You will be missed little buddy!”

Farm Life: Just How Many Animals Live on the Marrs Farm?

They include:

  • alpacas
  • sheep
  • Camels
  • Five dogs, including two Great Pyrenees named Jack and Bell

And you never know when they might add more. “We’re like the rescue farm,” says Jenny in the interview. “If somebody needs a home, they’ve ended up [here].”
