Asus ROG Phone 9 is coming on November 19th with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC

As soon as Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, most of the smartphone producers jumped into the race of announcing the device with the chipset. Now, the update is coming from Asus as the company has confirmed that the ROG Phone 9 series will be shipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. As announced by the company, The series will make a global debut on November 19, 2024.

Asus ROG Phone 9 expected specifications and features

Asus has already confirmed that the ROG Phone 9 is going to be a gaming smartphone and it has been introduced with the tagline ‘AI on Game on’ with which we can figure out the smartphone will deliver gaming and AI-focused performance. As for the processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite includes the Qualcomm Oryon CPU and Adreno GPU. With that, Qualcomm is looking forward to delivering exceptional gaming performance on smartphones.

The smartphone will ship with LED lighting on the rear panel. Previous leaks regarding the smartphone claimed that it will ship with 24GB RAM and 1TB internal storage along with 65W fast charging support. The expansion of storage to that extent is clear indication by Asus that they want to present their phone as an all rounder that can run heavy games and store a plethora of them as well.
