New year, new start.
Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber reportedly called it quits toward the end of 2024 after three years of dating.
On Tuesday, a source told TMZ that the decision was mutual and there is no animosity between the two.
Reps for Butler and Gerber did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The “Elvis” star, 33, was first linked to the model, 23, in December 2021 — one month after her split from Jacob Elordi.
“She seems really happy,” a source told People at the time. “All of her friends think he’s really cute.”
The pair were often seen running errands together in Los Angeles but didn’t make their public debut as a couple until March 2022.
While they regularly supported each other’s individual projects, the couple rarely shared any insight into their relationship.
When asked about his romance with the model during an interview with GQ in May 2022, Butler politely declined but thanked the journalist “for providing the space.”
Similarly, in February 2024, Gerber shied away from talking about the “Bikeriders” actor during an interview with WSJ Magazine.
“Honestly, I feel like so few things in my life are private, and that is one of the things that I try to keep as sacred as possible,” she explained.
