Bad Bunny thinks he's the best celebrity wrestler in WWE.
On the latest episode of Hot Ones, host Sean Evans said he believes Benito is the best celebrity wrestler to perform in the company, and the singer corrected him to make his statement factual. According to Bunny, he is the best celebrity to step foot in a WWE ring, and no one comes close.
"In my humble opinion, you're the best celebrity wrestler ever in the WWE," said Evans. To which Bunny responded, "That's your opinion?...No, that's a fact."
Bad Bunny began appearing on WWE programming and made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37, where he impressed fans with his wrestling skills. He also won the company's 24/7 Championship, participated in the 2022 Royal Rumble, and helped bring the Backlash premium live event back to his native Puerto Rico by hosting it in 2023.
Earlier this month, Bad Bunny told Rolling Stone that he wanted to get back in the ring for one last match with the WWE to risk his life and "scare" his mother. He also wants to try his hand at being a villain for his final run with WWE.
"Sometimes, I say, 'I'm going to quit everything and just do wrestling full time," said Bunny. "I feel like in wrestling, I just go sporadically as a celebrity. I'm going to go full-time and be a heel. That's what I'd love. [Laughs.] I was always a fan of the villains more than the good guys."
Fellow celebrity wrestler Logan Paul caught wind of Bunny's comments and challenged him to a potential match, which fans hope will happen very soon. Paul is another excellent celebrity wrestler who also had stellar matches and even won the WWE United States Championship.
