MARGOT Robbie has reportedly 'given birth' to her first child with husband Tom Ackerley.

The 34-year-old's well known starring roles include the films Barbie and The Wolf of Wall Street.

According to The Mail on Sunday, the Australian actress gave birth to a baby boy on October 17.

She reportedly went into labour two weeks ago, just before her due date.

Earlier, this year it was reported the Academy Award-nominated star was expecting her first child.

Not long after, she was spotted showcasing her growing baby bump as she attended Wimbledon with husband Tom.

She began dating Tom in 2014 after meeting on the set of Suite Française the year before.

While Margot was in front of the camera, he worked as an assistant director on the film.

Initially just friends, romance blossomed and they married two years later.

Margot later told Vogue Magazine: "I was the ultimate single gal.

"The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me.

"We were friends for so long."

She added: "I was always in love with him, but I thought: ‘Oh, he would never love me back.

"Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’

"And then it happened and I was like: ‘Of course we’re together.

"This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.’”
