Bella Hadid, who is known for her penchant for vintage fashion, wore an archival Elie Saab plunging gown in Dubai. Not only that, she also debuted a new hairstyle. On Tuesday, Hadid attended a Chopard launch party at the Dubai Mall, a month after the brand declared her the new global ambassador. The model posed like royalty in the embellished chiffon gown, featuring a mid-slit and a long trail dragging behind her. Moreover, she sported the Swiss luxury brand’s jewelry and flaunted her freshly-cut choppy bangs and dramatic makeup.
Bella Hadid debuts brand-new hairstyle in Dubai in archival Elie Saab couture gown
In Dubai, Bella Hadid donned two iconic vintage looks, one in an Elie Saab plunging gown and another in a chic Thierry Mugler for Chopard’s launch party. Hadid’s stylist, Molly Dickson, prepped her for the boutique’s ribbon-cutting ceremony in a black Mugler dress from the ’80s. The model styled the button-up knee-length dress with a massive belt and folded sleeves. In addition, she accessorized the ensemble with the Swiss luxury brand’s jewelry. Her accessories included a unique choker, a bracelet, a studded watch, rings, and classic pointed-toe heels.
Nonetheless, Bella Hadid‘s new hairstyle was a crucial part of her Mugler dress and the plunging gown she donned later at night. She wore the Elie Saab vintage piece from the designer’s Fall 2004 Haute Couture and looked like royalty for Chopard’s Ice Cube collection launch party at night. This gown featured gold hues, sequin detailings, and chiffon ruffles, with a major part of it trailing behind the model. She paired the attire with the same accessories from Chopard’s new Ice Cube collection. At the event, the 28-year-old posed alongside the Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele.
Bella Hadid paired both her looks with bold and dramatic makeup that accentuated her sharp cat-eye look and cheekbones. According to her stylist Molly Dickson’s Instagram post, Syd Hayes was behind her new, magnificent hairstyle featuring choppy bangs. New York City’s makeup artist Nadia Tayeh created her masterpiece look along with the contributions of styling assistant Paige Holtz.
