Actor Ben Affleck has rushed from the raging Pacific Palisades wildfire at his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's place.
The Oscar winner, who finalised his divorce from second wife Jennifer Lopez earlier this month, is among multiple celebrities driven out by the fires engulfing the affluent LA district, which have ruined homes and are fuelled by winds of over 100 mph.
Pictures emerged on Tuesday (07.01. 25) night of Ben driving to 52 year old Jennifer's pad, casually draping his arm out his black SUV window. The former couple announced their split in June 2015, days after their 10-year wedding anniversary, but remain close friends as they co-parent their offspring.
Jennifer, along with the children she shares with Ben – Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12 – aren’t under evacuation instructions yet, but are ready to move at a moment’s notice. It's not yet been confirmed if Ben was moving in with Jennifer and the children or just checking in on them amid the disaster.

Prince Harry, 40, along with wife Meghan Markle, 43, could face evacuation from their $14 million Montecito estate and might even lose electrical power. Spencer Pratt, the 41 year old reality TV figure, alongside his spouse Heidi Montag, aged 38, witnessed the complete destruction of their residence amid the conflagration. Insiders informed TMZ that The Hills duo managed to evacuate their area safely although their Pacific Palisades abode "burned to the ground".
Paris Hilton said she was "heartbroken beyond words" to see her Malibu home "burn to the ground on live TV" as she watched the news with her family – including her son Phoenix and daughter London whom she shares with husband Carter Reum. "This home was where we built so many precious memories," the mum-of-two wrote in a post shared on Instagram.
"It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London. While the loss is overwhelming, I’m holding onto gratitude that my family and pets are safe." It comes months after a trailer on the set of her Bad Bitch Academy music video set fire, which saw "so many of my favourite things destroyed", Paris said at the time.
The catastrophe ignited on Tuesday around 10:30 AM and swiftly swept across thousands of acres. Thousands of firefighters were attempting to contain the original Palisades fire, which has burnt nearly 16,000 acres, and seven others across southern California which threaten to destroy more homes and lives as strong winds scattered embers.
The wildfires have seen the city declare a state of emergency, with at least 70,000 people forced to evacuate their homes as the metropolitan area became blanketed in a thick cloud of smoke and ash. The latest update saw a new fire break out in the Hollywood Hills, threatening a host of tourist sites including the Walk of Fame.
More than 1,400 firefighters remained on the scene, alongside 267 fire engines and nine helicopters, according to the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services. Last month residents in Malibu were evacuated from a wind-driven blaze dubbed the Franklin Fire, which saw more than 4,000 acres burn and stars including Dick Van Dyke, Cher and Jane Seymour forced to leave their homes.
