If you’ve been glued to the drama between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, then you know that their feud surrounding their movie It Ends With Us recently took a turn. On Friday, Dec. 20, Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment, retaliation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
But while fans of the actors continue to reckon with the claims –including reports of Baldoni showing nude images and videos of women to Lively, him divulging about his former “pornography addiction” to her, him discussing Lively’s postpartum weight, and sharing intimate details of his sexual life– Lively’s former coworkers are standing up for her.

On Instagram, Lively’s co-stars and longtime friends from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants franchise, Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera and Alexis Bledel, showed their support.
“As Blake’s friends and sisters for over twenty years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation,” the joint statement, signed by Tamblyn, Ferrera and Bledel, read.
“Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice,” the statement continued. “Most upsetting is the unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors’ stories to silence a woman who asked for safety. The hypocrisy is astounding.”
In the second slide, Lively’s former co-stars celebrated her fearless fight against the Jane the Virgin star.
“We are struck by the reality that even if a woman is as strong, celebrated, and resourced as our friend Blake, she can face forceful retaliation for daring to ask for a safe working environment,” they wrote. “We are inspired by our sister’s courage to stand up for herself and others.”
“For anyone seeking more information or engaging in this important conversation online, please read the full legal complaint in the investigative reporting by Megan Twohey, Mike McIntire, and Julie Tate for the New York Times.”
This statement hasn’t been the only show of support from a coworker of Lively either. A Simple Favor director Paul Feig took to X to vouch for Lively.
“I’ve now made two movies with Blake and all I can say is she’s one of the most professional, creative, collaborative, talented and kind people I’ve ever worked with,” Feig wrote, referencing their movies A Simple Favor and A Simple Favor 2. “She truly did not deserve any of this smear campaign against her. I think it’s awful she was put through this.”
While Lively hasn’t directly acknowledged these shows of support, she released a statement of her own to the New York Times after filing. “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted,” she said.
Baldoni, for his part, has denied the claims. “It is shameful that Ms. Lively and her representatives would make such serious and categorically false accusations against Mr. Baldoni,” reads Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman’s statement to Variety. “Wayfarer Studios and its representatives, as yet another desperate attempt to ‘fix’ her negative reputation which was garnered from her own remarks and actions during the campaign for the film; interviews and press activities that were observed publicly, in real-time and unedited, which allowed for the internet to generate their own views and opinions.”
