Blake Lively is garnering widespread support from family, friends, and celebrities following her lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni.
The actress has accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and claimed his PR team launched a smear campaign to damage her reputation after she filed a complaint during filming.
Hollywood rallies behind Blake Lively
Among those standing by Lively is her brother-in-law, Bart Johnson, who publicly criticized Baldoni's alleged actions.
Johnson commented on a New York Times Instagram post, calling the PR strategy against Lively "gross and disgusting but highly effective."
He urged readers to examine the evidence, saying, "Read the article, their text message exchanges, and his PR campaign strategy to bury her by any means necessary. No one is without faults. But the public got played."
Johnson also highlighted Lively's dedication as a mother of four and a professional, praising her resilience despite facing what he described as a calculated smear campaign.
"She was attacked by a VERY expensive PR smear campaign because she filed a sexual harassment claim for the very film you have to go out and promote with just the right tone or you get cooked," he added.
Lively's sister, Robyn, echoed his sentiments, posting on Instagram, "FINALLY justice for my sister @blakelively," while expressing relief that the truth is coming to light.
Celebrities have also rallied around Lively.
Colleen Hoover, author of the novel that inspired the film, praised her for refusing to "sit down and be buried."
Fellow Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel voiced their solidarity, stating, "We stand with her in her fight against the reported campaign to destroy her reputation."
Amber Heard, who faced a high-profile defamation trial, noted Baldoni's use of a PR crisis manager she recognized, calling social media misinformation "horrifying."
Amy Schumer, Gwyneth Paltrow, and director Paul Feig also shared messages of support.
The allegations against Baldoni, which his lawyer has dismissed as "false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious," have drawn widespread attention, particularly after rumors of tension between Lively and Baldoni surfaced earlier this year.
As the legal battle unfolds, Lively's supporters continue to amplify her voice, demanding accountability and justice.
