Many people seek ways to reinvent themselves, especially those who spend time in prison. BMF co-founder Big Meech was recently released from prison and made a big change that has been common for celebrities and normal people.
Demetrius Flenory Sr. visited 5 Star Smiles in Miami this past weekend and received a fresh new set of veneers. The official 5 Star Smiles Instagram page shared a video documenting the entire process, from his entry into the office to clips of the doctors working on his teeth.
Danielle Noguera, President of the cosmetic dental practice, stated that Meech dealt with many teeth issues due to his time in prison. He was treated with a deep cleaning and fitted for temporary veneers before he returns next week to get a permanent pair. “It’s time to smile again,” Meech said in the video. “Oh yeah, I’m back. That’s way more confidence now.” Fittingly, Rick Ross’s 2010 track “Blowin’ Money Fast” played in the background of the video. Watch below.
Big Meech was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2008 for drug trafficking and money laundering. Last month, he was transferred to a community confinement center in Miami where he will reside until his projected release date of Jan. 27, 2026. Meech was known for running a national drug enterprise throughout the 1980s, moving an average of 2,500 kilograms of cocaine monthly.
“He used his time in prison to focus on personal growth and transformation, and now he has the opportunity to begin a new chapter,” Meech’s lawyer Brittany K. Barnett said in a statement to the Associated Press. “He’s out, but millions more remain trapped inside — there’s still so much work to be done. We need to push for real change, for a justice system that recognizes the dignity and potential for redemption in every individual.”
His life has been depicted in the 50 Cent-produced Starz series BMF which stars his son Demetrius Flenory Jr. and Da’Vinchi, which was recently renewed for a fourth season.
