BRANDI Glanville has lost five teeth and is "determined to get her smile back."

Brandi, 52, explained she has been working her way back from a difficult health journey, which she said began with stress-induced angioedema that caused her face to swell and as a result, her teeth have shifted.

"I'm not quite back to normal yet. People keep asking me if I've lost weight, and I haven't, I've actually gained weight, but I've lost teeth.

"I lost five teeth out of my head, so my face has been looking really thin."

The reality star, who lost her TV gig with Bravo after a series of events that included her being accused of sexual abuse by a fellow cast member, claims which she has adamantly denied, has said the stress from it all has triggered her illnesses.

"My girlfriend Phaedra [Parks, Real Housewives of Atlanta] was at the dentist, and she was just telling my story to her friend, the dentist, Dr. Anj [Rajpal]. Dr. Anj just wanted to help.

"It's the holidays. She's giving me the gift of smiling again, and we're in the process, so I have one new tooth in the back, which I'm so excited about.

I lost five teeth out of my head.

"I can eat again, I'm not chewing with the front of my teeth, and I can smile again, but it's a work in progress, and I'm just actually happy for the first time in about two years."

The mother-of-two said she now has posts where her other teeth are missing for the time being and that before this, she didn't want to smile for fear she would flash her missing teeth.

"You don't feel good if you can't smile and I was joking with my son yesterday, because, you know about the Housewives, I'm like, I'm toothless, not homeless. I'm not the other way around, but I could be homeless very soon if I don't get a job," she added.

Homeless Not Toothless is a charity that "provides free and quality dental care to the underserved and disadvantaged so they can live life pain-free and with pride," according to the organization's website.

Brandi continued on about how her stress-induced angioedema impacted her dental health.

"When your face swells up and goes down and swells up and goes down, your teeth move, and I had a bridge that was very, very old, and unbeknownst to me there was an infected tooth underneath that."

COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE

The star counts herself lucky for discovering the tooth issue when she did, as it could have been much worse.

"I'm honestly not thankful I had a stress-induced angioedema, but had it not been for that, that tooth could have done a lot more damage than it did.

Bleary-eyed Andy Cohen slurs his words as he demands Brandi Glanville watch him have sex in video she calls ‘disgusting’

"So we had to take the bridge off because my teeth were like, there. Spacing out and moving, and that's when we found that there was a broken tooth that had been under there for God knows how long.

" When we pulled that one, we realized we had to pull two more. So now I'm missing five teeth."

Dr. Rajpal further explained that Brandi could have had serious complications from her dental infections.

"Dental infections in that area can be extremely dangerous because your teeth are so closely linked to your sinuses there," Dr. Rajpal explained.

"If the infection travels directly into the sinus, you can just blow up a huge infection in the sinus and end up with all of these issues.

"Teeth, infections on the front of teeth can be extremely dangerous as well, because they can travel directly into the brain.

"So all of these things are really important to be closely monitored so that they don't end up causing systemic issues and unnecessary bacteria traveling to other parts of the body," Dr. Rajpal added.

Brandi said that the missing teeth impacted her social life.

"I wasn't socializing anyway, but you really don't want to because you don't want to have to explain to everyone why you're missing a tooth.

"One of them was in the more towards the front, where you could actually see it, the ones in the back we're working on.

"I am happy for my smile. I'm happy because it's the holidays, and, you know, I love Christmas, and I wasn't even going to decorate until this all came about," she added of Dr. Rajpal's help restoring her smile.

ROAD TO A FULL SMILE

Dr. Rajpal said that fully restoring Brandi's smile will take some time and work.

"She came to me for the first time a couple weeks ago, and she was missing a crown on a back tooth, so I have replaced that for now, and we're working on reconstructing some of the teeth missing because she ended up having several tooth infections and had a few teeth pulled.

"She's just had a number of health conditions, and she had some swelling in her face and all of these things that she informed me about, and I think that it was suspected that there were some teeth infections, so she had a few teeth pulled, but she just hasn't felt comfortable smiling because of that and she had a lot of difficulties eating."

"I've been working on the existing teeth that she has now, and then we're gonna slowly move forward to building up the rest of her teeth that she's missing and trying to make her feel more comfortable smiling and being back to her regular public life so that she doesn't feel inhibited by expressing her emotions and all of these things, repressing her ability to smile," the dentist added.

As far as Brandi getting back to her public life, the reality star said getting her smile back is a step in the right direction.

A POSSIBILITY TO WORK AGAIN

"Yes, okay, so I don't have a career, but I have a smile, and that's the first step in getting back. Honestly, like I told you before, I've been living off my savings for the past two years, and I joke with my friends that I'm going to be homeless as well as Toothless.

"I'm going to be both, but now I definitely have teeth. I'm excited to get back out there and take meetings again, hopefully, and just start living again.

"I've been so depressed, and it just seemed like, for the past year and a half, two years, anything and everything that could go wrong went wrong."

Brandi said it isn't just her smile that's gotten a makeover, as her mental health has seen an overhaul as well.

"I have a new therapist, I'm on better medication to help with my depression, so I'm just trying to pivot and, you know, change my outlook, instead of, you know, poor me," the former Bravolebrity said.

"It's time to make it happen and if no one wants to hire me for a TV, well, not no one, but Warner Brothers, Universal, NBC, Bravo and that's kind of everyone, so if I can't work for them, I'm gonna have to figure out what I can do, because I have a family to support, and it is the holidays, and the savings are close to being depleted," Brandi said with resolve.

BRANDI'S BRAVO BREAKUP

Brandi previously told The U.S. Sun that working with Bravo and Andy Cohen ruined her life.

The former Bravolebrity said that her already rocky career with the network imploded when former Real Housewives of New York star Caroline Manzo accused her of sexual harassment during the taping of Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco in 2023

BRANDI'S BRAVO HISTORY

Brandi's had a tough go with Bravo.

The model-turned-reality star was brought on RHOBH as a "friend" for season 2 in 2011 after her divorce from actor Eddie Cibrian.

Brandi previously penned an exclusive article for The U.S. Sun about her painful split from the actor.

She was brought on as a full-time cast member from season 3 through 5, but was let go in 2015 after she made comments about Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa on Watch What Happens Live.

She was subsequently sued for defamation.

The reality stars settled the suit in 2017, and Brandi was ordered to pay up and publicly apologize to Joanna. Brandi said the suit cost her $500,000 in total.

Brandi returned to the show as a guest in the 6th, 9th and 10th seasons.

In 2022, Brandi, along with several other Housewives, appeared on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

In 2023, it was announced that Brandi would be returning for the 5th season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which was set to premiere in 2024.

Brandi was removed from filming after an allegation of sexual abuse was made by Caroline Manzo, which Brandi denied.

That season of Ultimate Girls Trip has yet to hit the air.

Caroline sued Bravo, as well as Warner Brothers, and NBC Universal, who own the Bravo brand, over the alleged abuse, but did not pursue legal action against Brandi.

In a filing from the suit, obtained by The U.S. Sun, Bravo producer, Lisa Shannon claimed that Caroline told them she did not feel "sexually violated," during the incident.

"At that point, Manzo revealed to us, for the first time, that she had suffered sexual trauma as a child and that Glanville’s actions that evening had triggered memories of that childhood trauma.

"She told us that she did not feel sexually violated, she felt 'disrespected' by Glanville." the producer said in the filing.

The 52-year-old said that after Caroline made the allegations, Bravo did nothing to back her up or defend her.

As a result, she claims her career was destroyed, and other work she had lined up vanished.

Brandi previously said, "With the Caroline Manzo situation, I didn't do anything wrong.

"That's why she's not suing me, because I didn't do anything wrong. And I think she's suing Bravo because she wants money. And what would she get from me? My rental? I don't have any money to give her."
