Brandi Glanville slammed the current season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as “garbage,” and she claimed producers once told her to “call out” Lisa Vanderpump’s “manipulation.” She also shared how much she’s spent on her mysterious skin condition after hinting that some doctors believe a parasite lives in her skin.
In the new season, Dorit Kemsley has accused her friend Kyle Richards of being manipulative. The feud has shocked many fans given that the co-stars have never fought this intensely.
“It’s garbage … It’s a train wreck,” said Brandi of the new season in an interview for ET. “It’s really sad TV.”
But Brandi admitted she “can’t stop watching.”
Addressing the friendship fallout between Kyle and Dorit, Brandi called it “déjà vu,” comparing it to her own fallout with ex-BFF Lisa Vanderpump in a past season.
“I feel like Dorit’s the Brandi,” she explained. “[The producers] wanted me to call LVP out for her manipulation, and I did … Now who is this Dorit? I’ve never seen her before?”
Brandi “absolutely” believes someone put up Dorit to go after Kyle.
“[The producers] get in our ear. We think they’re our friends,” she said. “I mean, who cares if someone’s manipulative? … It’s the exact same storyline. I’m like, ‘Kids, try something new.'”
She also addressed losing her ability to speak amid the skin condition, which caused intense “swelling” on her face. After the swelling, the skin started “sinking in.”
“When I touch some area, it jumps to the other side [of my face],” said Brandi, who shared that she has a video of it. “It lives right here [points below her left cheekbone] and right here [points to the left of her lips], and then sometimes it goes over [to the right side of my face] if it gets mad if I mess with it.”
“When I push it, [it looks] like little tiny bubbles are bursting. I feel like it’s s**ting or having babies in my face,” she said.
According to Brandi, she’s gone to an immunologist, an infectious disease doctor, a rheumatologist, and an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) specialist. She said some doctors thought it might be “old filler,” so they had it dissolved. But Brandi believes they ended up dissolving her “actual skin.”
The star added that she’s been on “every” medication “you can think of.”
“I don’t socialize. I don’t go out,” she said. “I’m just spending all of my money trying to figure out what’s wrong with me. [I’ve spent] over $70,000.”
Brandi suggested that she perhaps got a parasite on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco because there was food, including meat, that was “left out.”
