Brian Austin Green has once again shown he wants the best for his ex-wife, Megan Fox. After telling her on-and-off again boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly to "grow up" back in December, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star offered some more advice to the singer.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green split in November 2020

Fox announced her pregnancy in November, but just weeks later, it was reported that she and MGK, whose real name is Colon Baker, broke up. Since then, they’ve kept a low profile, but last week TMZ reported that things had gotten so bad between the soon-to-be parents that “the lines of communication are closed” and they’re not speaking to each other.

Following that report, the "My Bloody Valentine" singer shared two shirtless photos with a cryptic message that seemed directed at the headlines. "How can 'sources say' when the sources haven’t said anything?" he captioned the post.

After his post, headlines began to come out saying MGK denied the report. One of them caught Green’s attention, and he reposted it on his IG story with some words of advice to MGK. "Bro, just be honest for once in your life," Green wrote. "Stop caring so much about how you’re perceived that you will try and drag other people.”

Brian Austin Green's first message to MGK

This isn't the first time Green has shared his opinion on the messy situation. In December, he found out about the breakup while chatting with TMZ and seemed visibly upset, especially about the reason for the split. "How old is he? Do you know? He's in his thirties, isn't he?" he asked, questioning MGK’s maturity. "I mean, grow up. She's pregnant," he said.

"I just want the best for her, want the best for her baby, for our kids—that's a shame. That's a shame. I'm heartbroken about it because I know she has been so excited, and the kids are so excited for life and the change, and all that," he added, concerned.

As for what MGK is up to, he did not walk the red carpet at the GRAMMYS, but he did attend the 67th annual GRAMMY Awards Pre-GRAMMY Gala and GRAMMY Salute to Industry Icons honoring Jody Gerson on February 1 in Los Angeles.

He was also part of NBC's Motown Christmas but since the pregnancy, he's been pretty low-key. Which he already announced he was going to do before the breakup. In November he wrote that he was isolating himself in the desert to work on music.

He wrote on November 25, “Isolating myself in the desert next week to restart this album from scratch. When inspiration flows through me unblocked, we will reach the destination in no time. Don’t worry.” The tweet seems to have come before the breakup since Thanksgiving was on the 28th.

Fox has also been away from the spotlight since announcing her pregnancy. Her film Subservience was released in December 2024 and she didn't promote it on social media. The actress didn't seem to do a press tour for the movie either. The only post on her IG at the time of this publication is her pregnancy announcement.

TMZ reported that she was around 4-5 months when she announced her pregnancy in November, noting that her due date was sometime in March.
