While Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia revealed she wouldn’t be sharing any more stories about ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan, she did tell one last one that has the internet shook.
The 25-year-old influencer explained that Zach, a country singer, once kicked Connor Wood—known as Fibula on TikTok—out of the car over a seemingly trivial reason.
“Zach tried to murder him because he touched my shoulder,” Brianna, 25, said on the Wednesday, November 13, episode of the “BFFs” podcast. “Like, in the car. Made him pull the car over, kicked him out of the car.”
After Brianna shared this, fans quickly flooded social media with comments in support of Connor. One fan wrote, “Doing that to Connor, out of all people, is insane..” while another posted: “WE RIDE AT DAWN FOR FIBULA!!”
In case you missed it, Brianna and Zach broke up late last month after more than a year together, with Brianna alleging that Zach “blindsided” her by announcing the split publicly. She later returned to the “BFFs” podcast after a brief social media hiatus, where she claimed Zach had emotionally abused her throughout their relationship.
“I took the high road. I didn’t share the whole story, and me taking the high road wasn’t out of stupidity or protection. It was me throwing him a bone,” she explained on Wednesday. “It was my final cry at help to try to get him to see what he does to people and to try to get him to get help. I obviously think he’s not responding because if he is to respond, he has to deny it. And if he denies it, then I’m full story. Then, I post all the videos and the recording. That in itself should be enough.”
Brianna also emphasized that she didn’t go public with her experience to “ruin” Zach, but rather with the “goal” of “help[ing] other women.”
“That wasn’t my goal at any of this. If that was my goal, I’d be telling you everything … it has nothing to do with tearing him down. He’s never going to be happy ever,” she added. “I hope that he actually looks at it, reflects and takes time to fix himself, and stop putting women in these situations.”
Reflecting on her decision to share her story, she said, “I knew it was an important story. It’s hard to recollect that myself and then share it.”
“People are forgetting that I was two weeks out of [our breakup], so recalling those things or understanding those things is really hard and still is. And that’s why I’m holding back on sharing certain things [because] to share it is hard.”
Brianna concluded by saying that anyone who still didn’t understand her experience or empathize with her was “on the wrong side of things.”
