Netflix has green-lit a season two, as well as a U.S. version, of the popular Sidemen series Inside.
The YouTube group are one of the biggest in the U.K., comprised of members Ethan “Behzinga” Payne, Harry “W2S” Lewis, Joshua “Zerkaa” Bradley, Olajide “KSI” Olatunji, Simon “Miniminter” Minter, Tobi “Tbjzl” Brown and Vikram “Vikkstar123” Barn.
Earlier this year, The Sidemen launched Inside, their first long-form, seven-episode reality show on the video-sharing site, which featured 10 influencers and reality stars confined to a house for a week, all vying for a one million pound ($1.26 million) prize.
Season two will now debut exclusively on Netflix, the streamer has announced, with production on a U.S. version starting soon. Both will premiere globally in 2025 and season one of the U.K. series will be made available on Netflix.
The Sidemen will serve as executive producers of both versions of the show. The group said: “When we came up with the idea of Inside, we knew we wanted to shake up the game. We all grew up watching reality TV and are big fans of the drama and jeopardy that come with it.”
“Combining that with a prize fund and the challenges that our fans know us for, we knew people would be hooked. We are so proud of the first series and now with Netflix on board for a second season and a U.S. version, this is just the start.”
The Sidemen are famed for their videos of challenges, sketches, and video game commentaries across their YouTube channels — which have a combined total of over 140 million subscribers.
