Britney Spears's estranged husband Sam Asghari was grilled about the pop star on The Traitors US this week as he was asked whether she watches The Real Housewives

Despite their 14-month marriage ending in divorce last year, the 30-year-old model kept quiet when quizzed by a fellow contestant on the show, which is akin to the BBC's psychological thriller but with celebs instead of members of the public.
Chanel Ayan, from The Real Housewives Of Dubai, probed Sam with: "I love Britney Spears, does Britney Spears watch Housewives?" But Sam clammed up, responding: "I'm going to keep that to myself."
The American version of the show, now in its third season, pits the "faithful" against a sneaky bunch of "traitors" who aim to bump off their rivals and snatch a cool 250,000 US dollars (£195,785) for themselves. And in the latest episode, telly star Robyn Dixon couldn't resist asking Sam: "Sam I have to ask, are you connected to Britney Spears?" as they journeyed to The Traitors castle.
Sam, known for his role in the dark comedy Black Monday, confirmed: "Yes, we were married for a while," sparking a flurry of follow-up questions. The Iran-born hunk tied the knot with Britney in a lavish bash at her LA pad in June 2022, having first locked eyes on the set of the Slumber Party music video back in 2016.
Their nuptials boasted an A-list guest list featuring the likes of Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, and Paris Hilton, reports the Mirror.
In a recent episode of The Traitors, former wrestler Nikki Garcia and The Bachelor star Gabby Windey left Survivor's Carolyn Wiger stunned when they revealed: "That's Britney's ex". "Sam, in the pink. I first thought he was Davide from Love Island," Garcia said, referring to Davide Sanclimenti who won the eighth season of the ITV show with Ekin-Su Culculoglu in 2022.
Later in the episode, the contestants wondered how they would recognise Lord Ivar Mountbatten - the son of the late Marquess of Milford Haven, who was the first cousin of the late Duke of Edinburgh, the Queen's husband. "I was born with a very nice last name. Mountbatten. It's one of the royal family's surnames. Harry and Meghan's children are called Mountbatten," the 61-year-old explained.
"The King is my second cousin. I was married to a woman for 17 years, had three kids and then we parted company. And then I married a bloke and because I've got a famous last name it was all over the newspapers."
