According to People Magazine, Jayden is one of the two kids that Spears had with her ex, Kevin Federline. Her other son, Sean Preston, is 19.
People reported that the child custody arrangements have varied over the years since Spears and Federline divorced in 2006, but Federline and the boys moved to Hawaii in 2023.
According to People, Federline obtained consent from Spears for the move.
In November, Jayden returned to Los Angeles, California, where he has been hanging out with Spears at her house, according to People.
Britney Spears Is ‘Happy’ That She’s Spending Time With Her Son Jayden, a Report Says
People quoted a source as saying that Spears has her son’s best interests in mind.
“Spending time together has made her happy,” the source told People.
“Britney has always faithfully supported her children and wants them to be happy,” the source added to the magazine.
According to TMZ, Spears made her final child support payment to Kevin Federline in mid-November. In 2018, Spears was paying Federline $40,000 a month in child support, but the payments ended as Jayden finished high school, TMZ reported. The boy is now 18 years old, according to TMZ.
Jayden’s emergence in Spears’ life also coincides with his high school graduation, which occurred two months before, according to Page Six.
Page Six reported that Spears may still have to contribute some money for the boys’ expenses, quoting Federline’s lawyer as saying, “I would say that under the terms of judgment, there will still be some responsibilities to contribute on certain expenses.”
