Bronwyn Newport’s Husband Todd Bradley Admits He Can ‘Appear To Be Too Harsh’ on RHOSLC

The latest “House Husband” to come under fire is Todd Bradley, who is married to Real Housewives of Salt Lake City newbie Bronwyn Newport. The fashionista joined the cast for Season 5 with mixed reviews from fans, but not for her; more for her man.

Many viewers have been left unimpressed by Todd’s antics on RHOSLC. He butts into classic arguments so that he can pull his wife out of the fray. He’s even seemingly spoken down to her at times. It sometimes makes for uncomfortable viewing.

Bronwyn recently decided to speak to viewers about it and surprisingly, Todd jumped in as well.

Bronwyn Newport’s husband Todd Bradley is put on the spot during WWHL with Andy Cohen

On a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Bronwyn took questions from host Andy Cohen about her marriage while Todd looked on from the audience.

During an RHOSLC girls’ trip to Mexico, sh*t got real. An outing that started with arguing among castmates ended in Bronwyn’s admission that Todd had been unfaithful to her.

When Andy brought this up, Bronwyn admitted that Todd hadn’t even watched the episode. “We’ve talked it out, he knows all about it,” she explained. “He knew in Puerto Vallarta, I called him from Puerto Vallarta, but there [are] some things you just don’t want to see.”

Later, Andy asked Todd how he felt about being on the show. From his seat in the audience, Todd joked, “I’m not sure I can quantify that, Andy. It’s a low number.”

But he did admit that he hasn’t exactly been his best self on the show. “We talked about it at the reunion, and I said I probably did appear to be too harsh,” Todd stated.

Given how much heat Bronwyn has taken from her fellow castmates about her marriage, she took a moment to defend that too.

“I think two things are happening here. One, so much of what is really special and wonderful between Todd and I, he wants to be private, so I knew that was never being filmed for the show,” she explained. “And then also, I wanted to just go on the show and be myself. I can be a little sarcastic, I just kind of put everything out there.”

We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one – always rooting for things to work out!

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns Wednesday, January 8, 2025 on Bravo.
