Cam Newton Reflects on Fatherhood And Lack Of Finances After the NFL

Retired NFL superstar Cam Newton is getting candid about the challenges of life after football, particularly as a father of eight children. In a heartfelt revelation during an episode of Special Forces, the former quarterback opened up about how his financial situation has changed since leaving the league in 2021 and how it has impacted his ability to provide for his family.

At 35 years old, Newton is navigating a significant transition, one that he describes as requiring a “different form” of himself.
