Cardi B, 32, embraces motherhood with her signature blend of humor and heart. On Tuesday, Jan. 7, the rapper melted hearts when she shared an adorable clip on her Instagram Stories featuring her 4-month-old daughter, Blossom.
In the sweet video, Cardi's baby girl is seen resting her tiny hand on her milk bottle while being fed. "My baby makes 4 months today and she soooo big," Cardi captioned the clip. Her voice could also be heard lovingly teasing her daughter, saying, "The bottle is not going anywhere, girl."
The Grammy-winning artist, who shares daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave Set, 3, with estranged husband Offset, welcomed her third child on Sept. 7, 2024. This happy milestone came shortly after Cardi announced her pregnancy in August, just a day after news broke of her filing for divorce following six years of marriage.
Despite the ups and downs in her personal life, Cardi has been vocal about her joy at becoming a mother for the third time. The Dominican-American rapper recently delighted fans with her elaborate Christmas tree display, which included a special tree for each of her children. Inspired by cherry blossoms, the tree dedicated to her youngest daughter stood out among the stunning designs. Sharing the display on social media, Cardi captioned the video, "The Blossom pole this year 🌸🌸," confirming that her daughter's name is Blossom.
The name Blossom could set a beautiful trend, as it symbolizes growth, joy, and promise, qualities that resonate with Cardi's vibrant personality and deep love for her family. Fans first began guessing the baby's name in November when Cardi posted a clip featuring custom diamond bracelets from jeweler Elliot Eliantte. Each bracelet bore the name of one of her children, but Cardi kept the one for her youngest hidden, saying, "Y'all can't see my daughter's name yet, so I gotta hide the last one! Just know the whole wrist is Eliantte."
Since welcoming her baby girl, Cardi has focused on her mental and physical health. Sharing her postpartum journey on social media, she revealed how staying active has helped her avoid postpartum depression. "I'm not doing heavy lifting, no muscle straining, squatting, none of that… just cardio," Cardi explained on X (formerly Twitter). "Sometimes to avoid postpartum depression, you gotta keep your mind busy, and for me, that's work and staying active."
Cardi's heartfelt Instagram pregnancy announcement last year gave fans a glimpse of her mindset as she prepared for her third child. "With every ending comes a new beginning!" she wrote. "You have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all… It's so much easier taking life's twists, turns and tests laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it's worth it to push through!"
