“There's so many sacrifices you have to make that I'm just like, I want to do something for myself,” she says. “I want to find a job that I can pursue that I love, but can also work around your job. We obviously love each other. We both want to give each other opportunities to fulfill our dreams, but that's where social media came in. Now I get to do that, and he gets to do that, and it's two very separate things.”
She also has her eye on the future. Johnson says she has had to turn down some opportunities in television and other mediums because of her husband’s NFL schedule, but once he retires, she’s going all in.
“I'm really excited for the opportunities that come our way that I would never imagine,” she says. “It's like I can dream them up, but honestly when they come, they're things that are just something I would've never thought. So it's cool.”
