Using an oven regularly can lead to a dirty door, dirty racks and a greasy inside, even if you are using appropriate trays and dishes.
With the festive period coming to an end, now is a great time to tackle the oven before the New Year.
Online cleaning enthusiasts have luckily taken to social media to share their top cleaning methods.
Posting on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page, Michelle Saunders wrote: “Ovens and oven doors.
“Does anyone have any tips for cleaning it at all? I’ve only had the oven for a year and it was quite expensive so I don’t want to risk damaging the glass.

“I’ve looked at Oven Pride but I want something I can use all over the oven, and on the door.”
The post received more than 400 comments from fellow group members all recommended their hacks.
Allie Helms said: “Mine was like that and I used a dishwasher tablet on it. Dip a hard tablet in some water and simply scrub wherever it needs attention.
“My oven was done in 10 minutes, I’ve got all my lovely friends and family using this hack too.”

Natasha Kerkslade wrote: “Washing up tablet you use for the dishwasher and hot water. Boil the kettle and use the combination, it works brilliantly on oven glass.”
Lisa Roberts replied: “I love using the dishwasher tablet cleaning hack, so cheap, so easy and game-changing at the same time.
The hard tablets have an abrasive surface which helps to remove any stains and scratches without damaging the oven.
They can be picked up easily from a variety of retailers including supermarkets. Asda currently sells a bag of 40 tablets for just £4.
This means each door cleaning session will cost around 10p, proving to be very budget-friendly.
Other comments suggested using bicarbonate of soda along with mixed vinegar to target the stubborn grease.
Tanya Selley wrote: “Get a big lemon, cut it in half and apply bicarbonate of soda on one half of the lemon. Then, firmly scrub the oven door using the lemon with the bicarbonate of soda on. You can also just use the lemon plain.”
Heather Buchanan commented: “Bicarbonate mixed with white vinegar and lemon juice!
