Coleen Ronney's stock continues to rise since winning over the hearts of the nation on I'm A Celebrity last year but it seems that's not all she left the jungle having achieved
Coleen Rooney has been offered a role on Coronation Street.
The mum-of-four became pals with show legend Alan Halsall during her time on I’m A Celebrity.
They became so close, he’s trying to get her to film a cameo appearance on the soap.
Coleen said: “Alan is trying to get me behind the bar in Coronation Street. I loved performing arts and acting when I was younger. I always went to drama classes.”
Coleen has already got some experience as a soap star under her belt – years ago she was an extra on Hollyoaks.
She said: “My walk-on part on Hollyoaks was the first role I had.”
Despite her love for acting, Coleen isn’t sure she’s got much chance of making it.
She said: “I feel like it would be hard to get into the industry. People see me as me, especially after I’m A Celebrity.
“If I did a role, I think it would be hard for people to see me as the character.”
Coleen is focussing on projects including her new business venture with Applied Nutrition.
She said: “I’m up for trying new projects. I’ve got a few things in the pipeline. You’ll be seeing a bit more of me.”
