The Washington Commanders are equipping themselves for their first playoff appearance since 2020.
They added back a large piece to their defense on Saturday, officially activating defensive tackle Jonathan Allen from injured reserve, as per NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
"The #Commanders have now officially activated DT Jonathan Allen off Injured Reserve," Rapoport said on X.
Allen hasn't played since Oct. 13 having been out to a pectoral injury.
The Commanders waived defensive lineman Phidarian Mathis to make room for Allen back on the 53-man roster.
