Cian Ducrot has opened up about his meteoric ascent to fame over the last year.
The Cork singer saw his single All For You go viral in 2022 and released hit album Victory in 2023, but it has been over the last few months that his popularity has truly exploded.
The Grammy-nominated artist recently headlined Dublin New Year's Festival at Dublin Castle and commented on how lucky he feels to have reached these levels of mainstream success.

"It's fantastic, it's what every artist dreams of," Cian told RSVP Live. "It's been life-changing. When things you've worked for your whole life come to fruition, it feels like you're living in a dream.
"It's an amazing thing and I feel very lucky and very privileged."
The name Cian Ducrot has been everywhere over the last few months, but the singer, who has racked up over 1.3 million followers on Instagram, has been working hard to get to where he is for years now.
"It's funny to hear it as a couple of months when I realised yesterday that it's been a couple of years," he said. "But time flies; it feels like it's been one year squashed into three."
It has been a crazy year for Cian, after he was nominated for Grammy in the 67th Grammy awards, set to take place next month, for his work on the SZA song Saturn.
This summer will mark two years since Cian released his hit album Victory, and he has said he is ready for a new era as an artist as he prepares to release a new single this Friday, entitled Who’s Making You Feel It?
"I'm definitely onto a new phase and a new era," he said. "I'll always carry the Victory phase along with me, it's such a huge part of my journey and so many of those songs are instrumental to who I am as an artist. That will always be a part of it."
He continued: "But it's also import to continue and move on and built into the next chapter, which where I'm at now. I'm very excited to do that and obviously bring parts of Victory along the way."
Cian Ducrot will feature in The Secret Headliner, coming soon to Virgin Media Television.
