Soap star Chelsee Healey has become the first celebrity to be voted off Dancing On Ice 2025.
The 36-year-old actress and her professional skating partner Andy Buchanan ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard last week with a score of 22 after the first batch of contestants had performed.
After the remaining celebrities competed on tonight's (January 19) show she found herself in the bottom two against comedian Josh Jones, who picked up a score of 20.5 earlier in the night for his routine.
In a big format change there was no skate off for the first elimination, leaving fans stunned with the change in the show.
The judges and audiences votes for each dance were combined, leaving Healey with the lowest score and as a result, she became the first to leave the competition.
After the announcement, Healey praised her dance partner Andy for being "amazing" and said she "couldn't have done it without him".
She added: "I feel, personally, there's been a lot going on with me that I've been struggling with, so I couldn't completely focus. I'm just really grateful, I've had the best time."
Hollyoaks star Chelsee performed last week just hours after being knocked out during training. Despite the setback, she chose to go ahead with her performance, skating to Beyoncé's 'Crazy in Love.'
Although the performance was not enough as she found herself at the bottom of the leaderboard against the other celebrities -Ferne McCann, Chris Taylor, Anton Ferdinand, Michaela Strachan and Sam Aston.
Fans quickly took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to defend Chelsee and comment on the absence of a skate-off. One fan wrote: "no way should Chelsee have gone! She was incredible... Not fair at all. Boo" along side a crying face emoji.
Whilst another chimmed in: "getting rid of the skate off is stupid! Chelsee deserved better tbh" and a third stated: "Chelsee has been done dirty there. If there was a skate off she would have got through. She had so much potential."
