'Full House' star Dave Coulier is continuing his battle with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, with the 65-year-old providing an update during the recent episode of his podcast.
Speaking on 'Full House Rewind', Coulier shared that overall things are "going well" even though his hair hasn't grown back in full yet.
"I realize how much that hair keeps you warm," he told co-host Marla Sokoloff. "Gets a little cold here in Michigan where I'm at."
He noted that he was excited for his hair to grow back, though not having a full head would come in handy for the summer as it is "like a little air conditioning on your head".
After the joking stopped, Coulier noted that his ongoing battle has been an up and down matter, much like a roller coaster.
"People who are watching the show or listening to the show, who have been here before, you know that it's a roller coaster, because the side effects have side effects - and then you take a drug to counteract that and this and that," he said.
While the chemotherapy is helping him in his battle, he noted that it is a "constant cocktail where your body is in fight or flight mode".
"It's a little bit on an internal battle," Coulier said.
Coulier was diagnosed back in November
Since receiving his diagnosis in November 2024, Coulier has spoken about his battle and the emotions it has stirred within him.
"[I was] feeling like I got punched in the stomach because it never happens to you," he said when talking about the moment he learned of the diagnosis.
"You always hear about it happening to someone else.
"There [are] days where I feel unbelievable. Then there's other days where ... I'm just going to lay down and let this be what it's going to be."
Coulier stated that before getting his diagnosis, he thought he was just suffering from "a little bit of a head cold."
