This year’s Christmas campaign highlights how festive shopping can become a seamless experience when carried out online.
The film shows the shopping journeys of British personalities, including actress Elizabeth Hurley, model and TV host Leomie Anderson, comedian Ellie Taylor, and presenter and podcaster Hannah Cooper-Dommett. It is soundtracked to Carol of the Bells.
‘Duh, Debenhams’ is set to launch on YouTube today (1 November). The retailer said it will also be available across broadcast television, digital, social media and press.
The campaign will also advertise at locations across the UK, including The Outernet, Manchester Piccadilly and London Euston.
Debenhams’ chief executive officer Dan Finley said: “‘Duh, Debenhams’ flips the script on festive shopping chaos and boldly establishes us as the ultimate answer for a stress-free Christmas shopping experience. Our iconic British cast delivers ‘Duh, Debenhams’ in a classic yet humorous style."
Finley added that the retailer was “reminding customers just how effortless shopping can be at Debenhams.com".
