Demar DeRozan teased that he knew Kendrick Lamar's surprise album GNX was coming.
It's unclear just how serious he's being. After the Sacramento Kings lost to the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, DeRozan spoke to reporters who asked about his thoughts on GNX.
"Proud of him. Another masterpiece," DeRozan said. "As for my favorite song, probably 'TV Off.'"
His fav is the same track has inspired a meme, thanks to Lamar screaming DJ Mustard's name during the beat change.
When asked if he was "tipped off" that the album would drop on Nov. 22, DeRozan told reporters, "Maybe I knew," which drew laughter in the locker room.
DeRozan's comments come after Drake called him out during a game earlier this month for his involvement with K.Dot in the "Not Like Us" music video.
At the game between the Kings and Toronto Raptors, Drizzy sat courtside and gave his former friend several nasty looks and called him a "pussy."
DeRozan responded by addressing the situation during the postgame conference while also taking the feud to social media and claiming Drake was acting tough.
Things between Drake and DeRozan were all good up until the latter popped up in the music video for "Not Like Us" and danced on stage with K.Dot at "The Pop Out" concert in Inglewood, California.
DeRozan claimed Drake was still his "man" but made it clear he was siding with Lamar, whom he called "family" during an interview.
