Divorce Rumors Swirl Around Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff

Emhoff's first marriage to Kerstin Emhoff became a trending topic after a British tabloid claimed Doug cheated on her.
"There's plenty of blame to go around as far as Kamala is concerned and Doug has his share," a source told Daily Mail.
"Doug did Kamala no favors during the election — frankly, he looked like a hypocritical a– after the bombshells that he had got his child's nanny pregnant while married to his first wife and assaulted his ex-girlfriend on the heels of his 'I am woman' crusade,'" they added.
Despite the source's analysis, the Emhoffs haven't addressed the claims that Doug impregnated his kid's caretaker.

Last year, an alleged mistress spoke to Daily Mail, which led to Doug acknowledging his shortcomings.
"During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions," he told CNN. "I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side."

After losing the presidency to Donald Trump, there has been speculation about Kamala's next career move after making history as the first woman, Afro-Jamaican and Indian vice president.
"I was with her last week, when she was signing her desk," Kamala's former communications chief Ashley Etienne told Daily Mail.
"She told me: 'You know me well enough to know that I'm not going to go away quietly,'" Ashley revealed.

Even though a source alluded to trouble in paradise, Doug praised Kamala at the Democratic National Convention.
"As I got to know her better and just fell in love fast, I learned what drives Kamala. And it's what you've seen over these past four years and especially these past four weeks," Doug told the crowd.
"She finds joy in pursuing justice. She stands up to bullies, just like my parents taught me to," he continued. "She likes to see people do well, but hates when they're treated unfairly."
