TV host Eamonn Holmes is planning to spend an intimate Christmas with his new love Katie Alexander.

A source said Eamonn, 64, will spend his first Christmas with the mum of three, 43, at his rented pad in Kingston, south west London. Dating counsellor Katie will not see her daughter, 14, or 13-year-old son on the big day.

It is thought the children, who live in Katie’s native West Yorkshire, will spend the day with their dad, George Alexander. Katie also has a son, aged 22, with an ex. Eamonn and Loose Women star Ruth Langsford, 64, split in May after 28 years together.

Their son Jack, 22, will spend Christmas with Ruth at the £3.5million family home in Weybridge, Surrey, it is claimed. A source said: “Christmas is going to be a tough one for all concerned. Ruth will be without her husband for the first time in decades and Katie won’t see her kids on Christmas Day either.”

We recently revealed that Ruth’s lawyers are drawing up a “forensic” timeline of GB News host Eamonn’s new relationship, following claims he and Katie were first in touch 12 years ago and exchanged flirty online messages. Sources say that during the chats, Katie’s ex-husband George joined in, jokingly telling Eamonn: “Think she’s flirting with you.”

The source said Katie and Eamonn have told their respective exes that they weren’t romantically involved back then. Instead, they are thought to have been dating for six months, taking a Mediterranean cruise in September. According to reports Eamonn is looking for a bigger property so he can move in with Katie.
