Soap star James Farrar reacted to a fan who expressed concern over the prospect of him leaving Eastenders just days ago amid speculation over his future on the BBC show.
James, 37 - who has played Zack Hudson since 2021 - is a personal trainer alongside being an actor. He also runs wellness retreat brand Remedy with his wife Ali Roff Farrar and has been promoting their next session in recent weeks.
The couple will join guests at countryside estate Bonington Farm in Loughborough for a long weekend in January next year. James is understood to provide classes as a personal trainer, whilst his wife Ali is set to lead yoga and meditation during the retreat, which will run from January 24 to 27.
James has been promoting it on Instagram and has been met with some concern about the prospect of him leaving EastEnders. One fan wrote: "Your life looks so relaxing & fun. Love seeing your posts. I hope you ain't leaving Eastenders any time soon - you're the new eye candy since Gray went." James liked the comment but didn't appear to directly address the concern over his future on EastEnders. He instead responded to them with an 'okay hand' emoji. According to the Sun, they aren't the only fan to have questioned if he's leaving EastEnders.
He however has asserted that he remains an actor, alongside his other jobs, in one post promoting the retreat recently. James wrote: "Actor. Model. Personal trainer." He added: "That's my career, but I like to think it doesn't define me."
The award-winner has already confirmed that he will appear on EastEnders next year, having teased an upcoming storyline. Speaking to the Mirror at the Inside Soap Awards in October, James expressed his excitement over it and fans have since been speculating about the storyline.

The cast member also teased the coming months on EastEnders, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in February, whilst at the awards ceremony. Discussing what's ahead on the show, James said: "What's exciting is I look forward to Christmas Day regardless of being on the show or not. We get two Christmas Days."
He continued: "Oh! And New Year… New Year! I'm not saying anything... I will not say. I I know who is involved. It is unbelievable... as in unbelievable! We've got Christmas, New Year and the 40th. It's a big, big month for our show and I am so proud of us, and proud of Chris [Clenshaw] for everything he's done. He's left us in a very good state."
